Welcome 欢迎

Every Spring, we head to the most profound mountains in Yunnan China to eat, sleep and work alongside the heritage farmers and harvesters who produce the world's most prized teas. Each tea is harvested for only 10 -30 days a year, and every bud and leaf are handpicked, and handcrafted meticulously with time perfected artisanship. Each batch cannot be recreated, just as nature cannot be duplicated.


Yang Kriege’s expertise allows us to document, commission, and source teas that adhere to the rigorous standards set by a long heritage. While 


Our goal is to introduce the pinnacle of Chinese tea, to tea lovers, encouraging those interested from their very first cup to lifelong connoisseurs through education and access. We strive to sustain the height of tea that has been achieved thus far in history.


As you will realize throughout our site pages, China teas are all territory, cultivator, and vintage specific making each batch/harvest quite unique to the last.


We have access to some of the finest heritage farmers and harvesters of the rarest teas and have accumulate extensive knowledge of all 6 tea categories, White, Green, Yellow, Black (known as Red in China) Oolong, and Dark... including, Wu Long, Yan Cha, Dan Cong, and our favorite and passion, Pu-erh. 


Wheater you're a newcomer to China's Teas or an Aficionado, our pages will offer you our recommendations from our affiliate partners, education on tea preparation, education al all 6 types of tea, as well as the culture of the heritage farmers and harvesters that have supplied use with the most popular beverage in the world for thousands of years. 


At least once a year, we will also offer a limited selection tea prepared exclusively for  YangKriege from the Wild Ancient Tea Trees of Yunnan, China.
